The combination of aloe vera,witch hazel and collodial silver means that the toner is much better than straight witch hazel. "Have used extensively to cleanse wounds on my animals and in particular horses. I have a young horse who at 4yrs old put her leg through a fence and ripped a large area of skin from above her hock. This required constant bandaging for 8 weeks and the liquid was helpful in early stages for cleansing and the paste in later stages in promoting the regrowth of skin tissue and hair growth over the wound site.
